In partnership with the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation, the Troubled Waters, Awakening Minds 
nonprofit fund for individuals bound by substance abuse seeks to address one of the most pressing challenges facing New Orleans’ underserved communities. The fund will support the construction of a local facility that will provide immediate intervention for residents struggling with substance abuse. The fund will then enable those individuals to be admitted to long term treatment facilities where they will receive the education, care and counseling necessary to conquer addiction and rebuild their lives without the limitations of addiction.
